Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Kymograph is missing her right eye, three fingers from her left hand, and her right heel, which she blames on an irrational and short-tempered spirit who lives in a tree and who likes honey. The thing spoke some angry incantation to her after she dropped a boulder on one of the branches, and she couldn't pacify it because she didn't have any honey with her. The spell made her eye, fingers, and heel drop off and turn to smoke. There were no witnesses at the time, so people have no idea if Kymograph is really to blame or if the incident even happened. Evidently, the loss of body parts must be magical in nature because she seems to run, use her hands, and gauge depth just fine.
