Horse Dragons have equine-shaped bodies and hooves instead of claws, which allow them to be fast runners. They specialize in running takeoffs, which are quicker than taking off from a stand-still. Horse dragons are able to stalk their prey from the ground then quickly execute an aerial attack for the kill.

Night Moon Ride is one of Wildsilver's fastest dragons, reaching speeds of 100mph. Only Svirase is Wildsiver's fastest dragon, reaching 150mph. But even with these odds, Night Moon Ride always finds a way to beat Svirase. Wildsilver doesn't know how he does it, but almost always, he will win. Wildsilver thinks that he takes to the air just before the finish line, boosting her at least 1m ahead of Svirase, but she can't be sure. All Wildsilver knows is that Night Moon Ride is an undefeated clan champion at racing.
