Floret Wyverns are an elegant breed, named for the flowerlike mane and tail each individual possesses. They project small fields of magic around themselves that calm those in the field’s proximity, for a short while replacing anxiety and anger with peace-of-mind. Florets are strikingly wise; they often share their knowledge of the world with whomever is willing to listen and learn. They are very faithful to those close to them, and are especially devoted to their partners and young. It is said that the lasting friendship of a Floret is one of the highest testaments to one’s true character.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Cauliflower Floret grows cauliflower, a feat that he can only manage with the help of life magic due to the difficulty of the plant's cultivation. He doesn't eat cauliflowers, though, because he dislikes their taste and texture. He's willing to give someone a head if they offer compensation of some kind. This he advertises using a sign adhered to the trunk of his tree, right next to the garden. Occasionally, someone will approach Cauliflower Floret asking for not a head of cabbage but something else entirely, and the other dragon usually looks disappointed when Cauliflower Floret explains to him that the sign refers to cauliflowers.
