Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Wintery Dreamscape has an almost instinctive sense of where parties are happening, especially during Christmas. He flits around in the caves and small human buildings that they are held in, trying to make the place livelier with a little winter magic. Unfortunately, Wintery Dreamscape cannot feel the cold; the partygoers, however, are usually rather sensitive to the frosty snowstorms he creates, as are their valuables. Most of the time, he gets driven out before more damage can be caused, though the Winter Magi doesn't seem to think that it is his fault. All he thinks is that everyone wants him to find another party to perfect, so off he goes, flooding houses and caves with tons of snow and ruining the presents that were to be opened the next day.

Not many beings actually like Wintery Dreamscape, though no one has said such negative words to his face.
