Diamondwing Dragons are named for the myriad tiny scales that grow on their wing membranes, lending them a faceted, lustrous appearance. These meticulous creatures will spend months ranging far and wide to collect the shiniest trinkets and gemstones to adorn their nests. Once his nest is complete, a male Diamondwing will perform an elaborate aerial dance hoping to impress potential mates with his beauty and prowess.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Rubies is a voracious hunter who trades his kills to miners in return for sparkling gemstones. Ironically, he himself hates caves, and he refuses to barter anywhere underground.

He is a rather friendly male, but while talkative, he has a habit of never knowing what to say in a casual conversation. His best social skills lie in flirting, but he's also respectful about it and knows to leave uninterested girls alone. He dens in a nest of twigs, stones and gems built in the safety of a high rocky outcropping, and when he's not hunting or flirting, he can often be seen practicing his aerial dances above his home. He is a devoted father and his children find him a joy to visit, even if he's a typical awkward dad.
