Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Dark Clouds of Battle is always wary of upcoming fights. Fights aren't good. They may sometimes be needed but still they aren't good. Dark Clouds is forever avoiding direct fights and can help turn a possible war into a border squabble. She is always going to be the second Black dragon of her clan. She sometimes sits out when there are thunderstorms over her area. A few other dragons thinks that her behavior is a little crazy and a little strange. There are many perfectly dry places to stay if she wanted to watch a storm. She didn't have to sit in direct contact with rain. "Thunderstorms are battles," she would explain. "And battles are not good." She doesn't really play with hatchlings like a few other dragons. She only ever agreed to help train them. She really is quite strange.
