Red Dragons are similar to typical story book dragons. They shoot flames, can fly, etc. However, they aren’t evil creatures as depicted in myths and won’t go around raiding castles, killing knights, or kidnapping princesses. They live in a variety of habitats, from forests to coastlines to abandoned castles, usually in warm climates, and eat whatever living creatures they can find.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Pyropythiod FlameBlaze (after the gemstone: Pyrope Garnet) came to the clan cave under a sad cloud of violence and pain as the eleventh clan dragon. Shortly before nightfall, as Sphaleritia and Hematytus maintained their ever protective vigil, a terrible roar was heard by all, far in the distance. Several of the clan elders sped to investigate and came upon two elder Reds engaged in a horrific battle. Before any could intervene, both dragons fell from the sky, each slain by the other. When The Clan Mother arrived, she found Pyropythiod's egg buried in a mound of smoldering embers. They searched far and wide, hoping to find one of its clan to take it in, but alas, none could be located. The Clan Mother plucked his egg from the hot earth, and thus he became clan kin. Pyropythiod was told of his beginnings before he reached full growth, and so, he endeavors to return the kindness shown to him upon the others of the clan by gifting them whenever he can with the warm fire from his gullet.
