Witchlight Dragons are silent, secretive beasts that haunt the most remote corners of the wilderness. They beguile their unsuspecting prey into peril by assaulting their perceptions of reality and stoking the fires of paranoia with masterfully-conjured illusions. Unwary travelers have been led astray by the soft, inviting glow of their eyes amidst a sea of encroaching darkness, never to be seen again. Those that survive a Witchlight Dragon’s psychic onslaughts do not escape unchanged: some believe that the apparitions these dragons summon to tempt or torment their victims awaken them to hidden truths about themselves.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

When Twiggy Chick turned the nice round age of 25, she felt she was old, wise, and strong enough to start walking around a little more confidently, less worried about predators. Nearby are three-ish villages, and there seemed to be a new song floating around once she made her presence a little more obvious. She could hear travelers singing it as they followed the path through the conifer forest, and it made her hesitate in eating them. Because she doesn't know their language well, it took a few months to piece together enough lyrics and figure out that they were singing about her. They call her "Lime Light Lady", and the song now has several stanzas about bright visions, bewitchment, gold kites, bells, and a lot of other stuff that Twiggy Chick hasn't been able to translate yet. It is really catchy, too, with the "woo-woo-woo-woon" part easily sticking in her head. She really likes being known as the Lime Light Lady. It is much better than Twiggy Chick, which she never much liked.
