Gold-horned Tangars are a brightly colored tropical breed. They are primarily herbivores, and eat a wide variety of fruits and flowers in addition to the occasional bird. Tangars are well suited to life in the trees; their slender bodies make them light enough to be supported by thinner branches and agile enough to avoid obstacles while flying. Their brightly colored horns, found in both males and females, are used to attract mates.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Political Doo-Doo, once a little-known vice administrator, found herself pushed into the spotlight and in some political doo-doo when she did some stuff that most would describe as "questionable, at least". Some dragons argued her actions were illegal, and she should be punished, but she didn't find out whether that was so because she skipped town, heading for the rocky coast far away. No one tried to look for her, but they did take out their frustrations by finding her family and insulting them a lot. That's why Political Doo-Doo cannot return to her old forest town. She is not sorry, and she will get at least a scolding from her family that she doesn't want to hear. She has since found new friends and even a romantic partner in her new, better home. There is only one grove of fruit-bearing trees in this place, and she has claimed it using a rare law and her royal connections.
