Golden Wyverns are known for their beautiful metallic scales and rumored magical abilities. Living high in the mountains, these dragons do not believe in killing for sport or pleasure. They will hunt only when hungry and defend themselves when provoked, but will avoid killing to the best of their abilities. Golden Wyverns often mingle with other dragons of similar color and take pride in their shimmering hide.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

"Dropsy" sounds cute, like a mini droplet of something, but it isn't, or isn't anymore. This wyvern had swelling legs and face when she was a hatchling, a condition that persisted until adulthood when she finally received treatment from a traveling human with the right kind of medication. The pack of golden wyverns she grew up with had high beauty standards, and she was not a beautiful hatchling. "Dropsy" was the name given to her at birth, but other hatchlings soon associated the word with her mysterious illness, and the idea is still quickly spreading. Living with them made her snarky and cynical, and she finally joined a motley throng of dragons after a couple decades of putting up with her high-and-mighty pack members. Dropsy's limbs and face are still a little puffy, but either nobody cares, or they keep mum when they see her withering glare.
