Candelabra Dragons are a spectacular sight against the dark midnight sky. The glowing orbs that decorate their golden wings can be seen from far away and give them the unparalleled brilliance they are recognizable for. Proudly earnest, Candelabra Dragons will often go to extreme lengths to protect those close to them, even giving their lives to rescue a loved one from peril. However, they do not take lightly the breaking of a promise, and have been known to unleash a furious wrath when betrayed.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Candelabrum is a buddy dragon, and that's what she has under "breed" in the community records. Her mother and older brothers have taught her that being a friend to everybody is a good thing, although they didn't feel they needed to elaborate why it's a good thing. They all call each other buddy dragons. Candelabrum's aware that the humans officially call her a candelabra dragon in their own books and things, but there's not one language where "candelabra" or its singular form is easy to spell. Candelabrum is a simple person, and stupid humans making stupid lengthy words are not simple. As a buddy dragon, she does not tell the humans to their faces that they are silly animals who overcomplicate things. She acts nice and pretends to like them, because that's what being a good friend means. Some people are paranoid that their friends actually despise them and only tolerate them to be polite. They are right about Candelabrum's friendship with them, but she is careful not to let them know.
