Pyrovar Dragons live at high altitudes in areas with lots of volcanic activity. They are commonly associated with geysers and hot springs and enjoy soaking in the scalding water. Females bury their eggs in these areas warmed by geothermal energy and abandon them soon after. As a result, these dragons are territorial and solitary from a young age. Despite their affinity with water they have powerful flame breath and fire magic. They are entirely carnivorous and utilize a variety of hunting styles, from chasing down prey from the air to lying in wait beneath the water’s surface to ambush any unwitting creatures that wander by.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

mGyRe originally came from a place where the food was made from maize, beans, beef, cheese, and tomatillos. When financial times grew hard, she and PyRe8 decided to close their struggling restaurant move far away to where her cuisine was exotic—and ended up on the outskirts of Nworset City. There she was hired by Inexplicability as a chef at The Hole, and her cooking immediately became a staple. It has been a good move; she makes a lot more than she did in her old country. She has been experimenting with adding local ingredients. For example, cattle are not readily available, so she has had to use aurochs meat; and the temperate spices are completely different. The challenges have been good for her and yielded tasty results. She has even developed a signature dish which she has named after the tavern she cooks at—The Hole Enchilada.
