Neotropical Dragons are a breed that originate in rainforests. They are fun-loving and enjoy lounging on tree branches, eating whatever fruit they find. They are also often found sunning themselves on rocks, using their large wings to soak up the rays. In the summer, males compete for mates by showing off their striped wings and gliding in spirals down the tree trunks. It is said that the larger the wings, the more likely the male will attract a suitable mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

He's a lot like his father, Mossy: stubborn, proud, arrogant, a challenger, and overall very kind in spirit. But, where the two differ is in their feelings for Crepe, Mossy's wife and Pixie's mother. Pixie despises her for her flirtatious attitude and shifting between males. (To be fair, even if she did remain loyal to Mossy, he probably still wouldn't like her.) He's always very cold around her, very aware that she doesn't care for hatchlings and only likes his father for his looks, which absolutely disgusts him. He tends to act bitter around any dragon he deems deviant, not just Crepe. And, it unfortunately isn't always justified. It can be very difficult for him to overcome these prejudices, mostly because he always insists they're warranted. He carries a fierce sense of pride, never backing down in any way, shape, or form. This has both its benefits and deficits, as previously described with his judgements of others. He isn't stupid, though, and is willing to let some trust in.
