Balloon Dragons are so named because they are filled with a gas that makes them almost lighter than air, similar to balloons. However, they are not prone to bursting, as they are covered in tough skin and can deflate themselves if necessary. In addition, they generally are slow moving. They use their gas bladders to float to the tops of trees, where food is more abundant. They can shift their weight from their backs to their fronts, allowing them to reach leaves and fruit.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Hyrule Dirigible owes her allegiance to some kingdom somewhere that has a recurring problem every few human generations where an evil warlord captures the kingdom and, as often as not, kidnaps the princess, then is promptly defeated by a young man who almost always has a green outfit. The three characters always have the same names so she keeps trying to advise the royal family to choose other names for their princesses, but gets disregarded. Nobody is quite sure where this kingdom is, since Hyrule Dirigible spends all her time in the upper stratosphere playing around in the floating pools at the top of her favourite rising falls. She loves how she can get blobs of water, round as she is, that wobble through the air. She keeps all her friends updated on the current status of her kingdom, at least. Every time the evil warlord takes over her kingdom she gets super-worried that the hero in green will not appear. She's concerned about this idea of a missing... well, whatever his name was.
