Gold dragons are the ones most often killed by humans, who consider their scales to be extremely valuable. These golden scales grant them a high level of protection, similar to armor, and they use this to their advantage in battle.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

A beautiful Gold, this dragon is avoided most of the time. She does not have a set home, or at least no one has seen her sleep in the same place twice, and most times the Gold keeps to herself high above the ground, wings beating the warm air around her and face turned to the sun.

The ones who try to interact with her find that the things that she speaks of don't make any sense. She cries of the "GAME OVER" that occurred right in front of her eyes and wails about how so many of the ones she grew attached to are now dead.

The Gold never explains what she says, only sobbing loudly to herself and keeping her eyes fixated to the sun.
