Fire Gem Dragons are a colorful, flamboyant breed often found in hot climates, particularly around active volcanoes. Their broad tails store the flames they breathe, which are colored by the heavy amount of minerals in the water they drink. These dragons come in a variety of colors, and will collect shiny trinkets and stones that match their own coloration. Despite their hoarding tendencies, though, Fire Gem dragons are social and will often congregate in groups and show off their collections while fawning over the stones their friends and rivals have gathered, occasionally arranging trades.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Tarth Coreone is well known as a rather pompous dragoness, because she is under the impression that she is a god among men and dragons alike. She also believes that the more humans and dragons believe in and pray to her, the more powerful she'll become. As a result, much of her time is spent telling potential converts elaborate tales about the fantastical feats she has performed throughout history, such as how she saved Valkemare from a giant meteor and gave birth to the sun and the moons. She hasn't actually done any of these things, of course, but she assures any skeptics that if they haven't happened yet, they're things she'll do in the future- she knows this, of course, because of her godly clairvoyance. So far, the Church of Tarth is just a pile of rocks by the creek and has only one attendee (herself), but she remains undeterred in her efforts.
