Candelabra Dragons are a spectacular sight against the dark midnight sky. The glowing orbs that decorate their golden wings can be seen from far away and give them the unparalleled brilliance they are recognizable for. Proudly earnest, Candelabra Dragons will often go to extreme lengths to protect those close to them, even giving their lives to rescue a loved one from peril. However, they do not take lightly the breaking of a promise, and have been known to unleash a furious wrath when betrayed.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Rapprochement usually makes friends by asking every person he meets to be his friend, and if they say yes, he has a new friend. He has many, many friends, most of whom he hasn't seen in many years, though he has close bonds with two dozen or so individuals, not including family members. He doesn't make an effort to stay friends with most people, but he doesn't make an effort to destroy their relationship, either. If someone he hasn't seen in quite a long time asks if he would like to meet up again, as long as that person doesn't threaten to eat him or any other insidious thing, he's perfectly happy to spend time and "catch up" with them.
