Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It always seems to be in a good mood.

And look! Its wings have grown feathers! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Imdud (also known as Golden feathers in the south) is a hatchling that was accidentally frozen. He usually is on his own, or with Falling feathers in the north. He is very interested in learning things about the other dragons around...so much so that he knows their routines, habits and more. Yet he never says any of their 'dark' secrets, or purposely tries to blackmail them.

He just tries to help them... probably.
