Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It is drawn to flames, and has a curious desire to jump into them.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Anamile is a curious little scamp and likes to make up words for things she doesn't have words for. She is more scientifically minded than her peers, especially when it comes to poo, be it ungulate patties, worm castings, bat and bird guano, any kind of poo. Her father believes this interest may have come about when Granny used manure as a fire-starter once in front of her, or she's just the typical little kid who applied more curiosity and inquiry than usual to the topic. And because she's a little kid, she can just as well tell a poop joke as guess with 90 percent accuracy which of the local fauna left that pile on the side of the road. Anamile's parents are glad their daughter isn't interested in toying with or eating her subjects of interest. They are trying to teach her to refrain from talking about poo and defecation in front of guests.
