Floret Wyverns are an elegant breed, named for the flowerlike mane and tail each individual possesses. They project small fields of magic around themselves that calm those in the field’s proximity, for a short while replacing anxiety and anger with peace-of-mind. Florets are strikingly wise; they often share their knowledge of the world with whomever is willing to listen and learn. They are very faithful to those close to them, and are especially devoted to their partners and young. It is said that the lasting friendship of a Floret is one of the highest testaments to one’s true character.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Kozokuhana's parents were extremely picky about poise and elegance when he was a hatchling. As an adult, he's constantly concerned about proper posture, whether for eating, hunting, sleeping, or just standing idle. Kozo's living cavern is filled with diagrams of dragon poses and bone structure, as well as countless charts explaining how to prevent slouching. As such, Kozo considers himself an expert on maintaining perfect form and can spend long stretches of time just watching other dragons hunt or eat. Female dragons sometimes try to flirt with him by asking for critique of their body posture while they model a courtship dance, but so far Kozo has been oblivious to all attempted romantic advances.
