Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Out of all the vampires in Equinox, none is saucier or racier than Alamorta. She is smug and proud. There is only one dragon she cares about. Herself.

She's rather gifted with illusion charms, so she can make herself appear however she wants to. Not that she needs improvement. She is the hottest dragon in the clan...in her own mind anyways.

She can, however, seduce almost any dragon she wishes. Again, a large part of this is attributed to magic yet she tells the others that it is merely her beauty.

But what is so beautiful about the rotted holes in her ribcage or the mold spores growing under her forearms. The truth is, Alamorta longs intensely to not be a member of the undead. And she longs to be able to bear children rather than chomp on eggs and necks.

The story of how she became a vampire is one she doesn't tell. Only one other knows the tale and Ash has no intentions of betraying her trust. What is known is that she has a lot of respect for Ash despite it being he who turned her.
