Magma Dragons are capable of withstanding the intense temperatures of their element. They live in volcanic regions, their bodies coated in the red hot magma which clings to their scales. They must leave the lava fields in order to hunt, although they require surprisingly little food to sustain their lumbering mass.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Tan was gifted to Tastica's cave one cold night, when she was just a hatchling. When she gendered, Tan began receiving strange visions of a powerful purple-blue dragon, surrounded in blue mist, protecting their cave, but when she checked the cave records, such a dragon seemed not to exist. Confused, Tan moved to the Aquarius Clan, looking at their research, until she received more vision, which showed events that had happened earlier that day, and gave her an understanding of why they had happened, which she wouldn't have otherwise known. Curious, she started to explore this strange ability of hers, until one day she received a vision of an Ice dragon. Ia Galw. Curious, she sought out her old hatch mate, only to find he received strange visions too, and later on, their combined visions brought them to meet a young thunder dragon, Daranau Galw, and, under his direction, joined their powers together once every half-moon in an attempt to summon the mysterious dragon.
