Electric Dragons wield electricity with great prowess. Bright sparks race across these dragons’ bodies in a dazzling dance of light, complemented by the blindingly radiant sparks on their tails. Using their bellies and manes as stores for this electrical energy, Electric Dragons wield crackling magic, stunning and electrocuting their prey with a whip of their tail. During mating season it is typically those with the most brilliant sparks—an indicator of strength and hunting ability—that are drawn to each other.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Stunned Lurker is the adopted son of an adventurous woman who taught him to try to keep his life interesting, advice he followed for about 14 years. Upon leaving home, he joined the Syrup Jam and then the Rhyme Uprising, both of which got him jailed. Then, he helped transport weapons and freshly-dead thrill-seekers out of Papa's Domain for a year. His first real job was a handler for a gorgon bard. That soured for him when he was petrified, and only the quick intervention of a Hatted Undine saved him. He then became a PR person to an author in Mid-Stoke, a job he deemed less deadly. Writing the last novel of the Civil Servant Andrade series while on his deathbed, the author decided to finish with an apocalypse so no one could write any sequels after his death. This made people angry, and suddenly, PR person became a deadly job. After the pitchfork was extracted from Stunned Lurker's thigh and the burns healed, he decided he'd be quite happy leading an uninteresting life for a while.
