Originating from a single species that thrived in ancient times, Xenowyrms have become an incredibly diverse breed whose appearances vary depending on their habitats. Each Xenowyrm subspecies is heavily reliant on the power of different types of mana, making them powerful magic users. Mageia, found exclusively in desert regions, are thought to be the wisest Xenowyrm subspecies. Due to their knowledge of the magi element, they are able to cast a variety of magics, including teleportation. Their beautiful yellow scutes are reflective and smooth like glass, making them very valuable to collectors.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Alethkar has always been rather dumb for a Xenowyrm. However, despite having the wisdom and foresight of a toddler, she has somehow managed to conquer a territory large enough to rival most kingdoms. Her lengthy rule has been riddled with questionable decisions, such as basing the entire social structure on eye color, forcing females with arms to wear a glove on their left hand for "public decency," throwing frequent and pointless feasts, and running off on frantic hunts for mana crystals when she should be doing her job. Luckily her mate, an ambitious Magi named Lighteyed, has always been more than happy to take over in her absence. Despite her blatant ineptitude, Alethkar is adored by most of her subjects for her jovial nature and magical prowess. The Mageia is well aware that her mate has basically reduced her to a figurehead, but it doesn't seem to bother her. After all, leaving the kingdom to him gives her time to do whatever she wants, so as far as she's concerned, it's a win-win.
