Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Herry Jr. is the only of his siblings who ever stayed with his family's clan. At an age where his brothers and sisters were sent out as ambassadors to other clans, Herry had already fallen in love with Gagh, one of his hatchlinghood playmates. Although he had fully intended to follow the path his parents had prepared him for his whole young life, he also knew that it would have broken his heart. His parents remembered their own youth and first meeting and quietly had a little chat and unanimously came to the conclusion that love was more important than so-called destiny.

Herry Jr. was terribly relieved and overjoyed when they told him that his assignment was off and that he should try and capture some mountain goats as Gagh loved to snack on those.

Herry and Gagh soon moved to their own lair, living in happy harmony ever since and he never looked back.
