Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Kazz McLaggen was another one of the lucky dragons to survive the attack of the dreaded Lag Monster that occurred around Saint Patrick's Day 2009. He hatched within a normal time frame, but spent an extraordinarily long amount of time as a hatchling as a result of the Lag Monster. To this day, none of the other dragons in the cave know how he survived. When he can be convinced to tell his story, he almost always mentions the Loch Ness Monster. In the time since he grew up, he's become very close to a fellow Lag survivor, Leggende De La Cadutta. They spend almost all of their time together, and they are the parents of a frozen hatchling by the name of Paxian. One would think that the difficult time Kazz had in his youth would have affected his temperament. However, it seems he has a very strong protective instinct towards those he cares about and infinite patience.
