Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It glows with some form of arcane energy.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Some say that Bean's name is a bit unusual, but he is perfectly happy with it and with his life serving Candygolde, an older Magi dragon. After being frozen Bean became very conscious of his permanent young life and longingly watched as his friends grew older and left him behind. This lead him to be a very shy and nervous creature who is easily distraught by making even the smallest mistake. He makes his life following Candygolde and tending to the den they share, often assisting her in her tasks around the Clan and watching her den while she's away.
