Red Dragons are similar to typical story book dragons. They shoot flames, can fly, etc. However, they aren’t evil creatures as depicted in myths and won’t go around raiding castles, killing knights, or kidnapping princesses. They live in a variety of habitats, from forests to coastlines to abandoned castles, usually in warm climates, and eat whatever living creatures they can find.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Fantasy Cyanide read stories about dragons kidnapping princesses, though, and mistakenly believed that she was supposed to do so. This was perhaps the worst mistake she made and it almost cost her her life. She bears terrible scars that look as if she should have died from the wounds, yet she is not a zombie—or at least, the others don't think she's a zombie—and although she is happy to share the story of the fight she lost, she shudders to talk about the white dragon who helped her. A desipis once forced the name from Cyanide's mind: Thyras. An infamous name belonging to one long suspected of necromancy despite her being a white.

After her near-death experience, Cyanide learned not to unnecessarily interact with hominids. She found an abandoned glass cave in the Voiceless Desert where a long-dead spitfire once lived and keeps very much to herself, only occasionally harboring other dragons traveling across the vast, desiccated expanse of wind and sand. She likes to roast sandsharks.
