What Furor Pygmies lack in size they make up for in ferocity. Their tough hides and dense fur are the perfect natural armor for fighting against opponents far larger than themselves. They will readily engage in a brawl with any challenger or creature that angers them no matter how outclassed they might seem. They are surprisingly hardy and the more riled up they get, the stronger they grow. Furor Pygmies get along well with other breeds and will happily travel along with them as long as they are shown proper respect. Nothing angers a Furor dragon more than when their companions are hurt, causing them to attack the offender relentlessly and without any thought of self preservation.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Pygmy dragons are the smallest category of dragons, being on the same scale as domesticated animals. They are often found around concentrated populations of dragons, relying on their larger brethren to ward away potential predators and leave scraps. As such, the majority of a pygmy’s diet is scavenged. Due to their tiny size, pygmies do not breed with larger varieties of dragons.

User Description

Fore-Rat is a tough, sweet, and talkative leader of an eclectic band of pygmies underground. They are an industrious and chit-chatty bunch, and Fore-Rat tells visitors and non-pygmy outsiders that anyone can temporarily join her band to help them with their work so long as they are diligent and can fit through the entrance to the underground quarters, and they will be compensated fairly. Her occasional fussing over her group members and the bashful way she behaves toward outsiders when the topic of her husband (a dark-scaled Avin) comes up might lead someone unfamiliar with her to wonder whether she's really leadership material, but her band agrees there's no one better. Life in the quarters is peaceful, and no visitor has ever reported witnessing a fight break out. Even the newest of newbies can see what kind of dragon Fore-Rat is and guess that if anything comes down here and physically threatens someone or something, she could easily send it away wishing it had never tried.
