Antarean Dragons are peaceful creatures shrouded in mystery. They are primarily found in the desert where they get most of their energy from sunbathing. Their most notable traits are their highly reflective manes and the mysterious light emitted by their scales which fades from bright, nearly blinding yellow-white into dim red as the dragons get older. Legend claims that they are otherworldly beings that came to this world when a meteor struck.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Micrometeoroid believes he fell from space, as a powerful godlike being that can do anything he likes. He causes more problems than he solves, and when he doesn't help anyone out with his "awesome powers", he asserts that the recipients didn't deserve it. He lies around all day and expects others to do his bidding. Surprisingly, some dragons happily serve Micrometeoroid, but most people despise his attitude. His detractors usually just ignore him, knowing that if they do anything to hurt him, his followers will probably find ways to make them suffer.
