Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Eisenhower is proud of his heritage.  His mother is one of the most powerful dragons in the cave.  Red China is a Black dragon, and is therefore quite proficient in physical combat and magic.  Eisenhower was targeted for a short time by Harry Truman, an adversary of his mother.  This ended when Red froze Harry solid for a couple hours, and refused to thaw her out.  Harry had to be thawed out by South Pacific, a resident Magi dragon.<br/>Eisenhower is rather ashamed of having a Mint dragon for a father, but he has grown used to it.  Joe DiMaggio, probably for his lack of a competitive nature, has become quite popular with the female dragons.  Not a bad legacy to live up to.
