Golden Wyverns are known for their beautiful metallic scales and rumored magical abilities. Living high in the mountains, these dragons do not believe in killing for sport or pleasure. They will hunt only when hungry and defend themselves when provoked, but will avoid killing to the best of their abilities. Golden Wyverns often mingle with other dragons of similar color and take pride in their shimmering hide.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Should she find herself without magic, Herlinda uses bees as defense. Around her cave, in the enormous flower garden, are dozens of beehives and bee boxes, large and small, and in a pinch, she throws one at attackers. Sometimes, she can go back and retrieve some of the bees and return them to a box. Most dragons, especially the large and thick-skinned ones, are more annoyed than afraid of the insects, but everybody gets distracted by them in some way. Humans either avoid Herlinda's cave entirely or make super-sure they're not seen as enemies. One of Herlinda's pet projects has been building a tubular device with a barrel and lever, among other bits stuck on it. The sack-like chamber can be easily loaded with bees, and if the user pushes the twig lever toward the middle of the tube, the nozzle opens and compressed air shoots out bees at whatever it's pointed at. Herlinda doesn't see much use with her bee bee gun, but it's still fun to tinker with.
