Hellfire Wyverns are so named for their foul tempers and fiery visages. Their social structure places all females above all males, due to superior physical characteristics and violent dispositions. Forced subservience of the males causes them to become vicious, petty, antisocial, and passive-aggressive compared to the aggressive and social females. However, orphaned hatchlings raised by foster parents of another species can develop surprisingly even tempers and mellow dispositions, proving that their defining unpleasant nature is, in fact, a learned behavior.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Stiria is a famous member of her clan, being the only offspring of the clan leader (and any dragon in the clan in fact) which survived to adult-hood before Julz36's discovery of Dragon Hatcheries. Despite her high status given by the clan leader being her father and the fact that if he dies she will take over his role, she is very easy to be around and is everyone's friend. She is very sweet, kind and peaceful, but she will follow her mother's aggressiveness if needed to protect the clan. She always puts others first and will stand up to what is right. She doesn't believe because of her lineage she is better than anyone else, which is just another trait that makes her very likable. Stiria has a mate and a daughter, to the males of her clan's dismay, as she is very beautiful on the outside as well as the inside. Her mate is called Festino Accelero and her daughter is Alacer.
