Sunsong Amphipteres are an unusual breed. Due to light interference caused by their magical nature, they don’t seem to be affected by any ambient light source. However, when struck by direct sunlight, they shine a brilliant gold. They are playful and ever in flight; their ethereal and mysterious appearance and the fact that they are usually only seen at a distance have led many to believe they are a symbol of hope and good fortune.

Proprius is a SunSong Amphiptere who is very large, even for the standards of his breed. This makes him very intimidating in appearance, but he is actually a very selfless, caring and kind dragon. Proprius is the Clan Leader, a role which entails being the highest authority in the clan and keeping everything in order when Julz36 is not able to accompany her dragons. He is well respected and loyal—not just as a leader but also in other roles as dragons that know him personally think very highly of him. He is a not just a good leader, but a good dragon, as his mate, Lystiria, his best friend, Scale-less, and his daughter, Stiria know. He is a very brave, bold, understanding dragon, who is very easy to befriend and trust.
