Red Dragons are similar to typical story book dragons. They shoot flames, can fly, etc. However, they aren’t evil creatures as depicted in myths and won’t go around raiding castles, killing knights, or kidnapping princesses. They live in a variety of habitats, from forests to coastlines to abandoned castles, usually in warm climates, and eat whatever living creatures they can find.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Dail lies spread-eagled in the sun, muscular limbs hidden beneath ruby sheened scales, gently twitching with his every breath. Chipped horns corkscrew off haphazardly from his head, which is curled swan like into his neck, exposing large scars which jag down his body like trickles of water. Carefully preened wings beat lazily back and forward, fanning cool air down to the sunbathing dragon, the scaly mirrors casting shadows which dance around the sun-bleached stones where he lies. Talons hide in the folds of his paws, but each stretch from his body to catch more sun reveals them, poking out from the toughened pads and glinting in the golden rays. His eyes drift around the area, radiating confidence as they search for danger which they know is not there, while his mouth hangs open, inhaling and exhaling the fresh air like a pair of bellows. Every so often his body turns, exposing another vulnerable side to the harsh sun, as it beams down upon the peaceful dragon.
