Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Fashion Santa is rather fashionable. Most people know what a holly dragon looks like and how one would carry himself, but this fellow doesn't act quite as expected. When winter arrives to the town of Yorkdale and he makes his presence known, he wears the region's recent trends instead of... well, nothing. He also has a white beard—synthetic of course since hollies don't have hair. Fashion Santa knows a little spell wherein the user holds up their dominant limb out and flicks a finger to take a near-instant self-portrait. Humans enjoy posing with him to take these portraits and then posting the slips of paper to a large board at the center of town. The more pictures posted, the better health all of the townspeople are in as time goes on, due to the life magic imbued in each piece. People really like Fashion Santa for that reason, and also because he's very handsome, even with the fake beard.
