Coastal Waverunners spend most of their time skimming the waves along the coast, snatching up their prey from the shallow waters. They have developed markings along the leading edges of their body that help disguise them as breaking waves. When they are not hunting, they enjoy playing among sand-dunes and shallow tide-pools. These dragons live in small but noisy rookeries. Some stories say Waverunners can fly for days on end without landing.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Tremyk is a large dragon with a fierce temper and little patience. He changes his mind easily, so one day, he'll be kicking up waves arguing one way, and the next, after he's convinced he was on the wrong side before, is arguing the opposite with the same passion. His neighbors in the rookery put up with him because he's their sole defender: one look at his bulk and wilting glare is enough to keep any hostile individual from targeting their territory. Trenky is heavy and needs to expend a lot of energy to fly, so he's usually seen swimming or, to the amusement of his neighbors, walking. He can hardly remember the spelling of his own name, so he's not picky about how it's written or how he's addressed as long as it looks or sounds something close to "Ternyk".
