Plated Colossus Dragons are one of the largest dragon species. These huge brutes are notorious bullies—they prefer to steal food from other dragons rather than finding it for themselves. As their thick hides are impervious to most forms of physical attack, Plated Colossi simply ignore the other dragons’ protests, or lash the offending dragon with their club-like tail, which can easily break a limb. Plated Colossi have slow metabolisms and do not need to eat often, but they may consume nearly half their body weight in one feeding. These dragons are not incredibly clever and any discussion with them will often center around eating.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

If he's not looking for food or playthings, Bridgehead is almost always found dozing next to the Romeo-Fluorburg Bridge. Long ago, residents of both towns thought he might have stationed there to destroy them, or perhaps he wanted to take over. He's shown no such desire for destruction, so they've relaxed. He's taken a liking to the bridge after the Centennial Renovation Project and decorates the rails and walkway every December for family visits. People are surprised that he has a family at all. His mother, partner, and siblings are actually very nice. When travelers unfamiliar with the bridge and surroundings arrive there, many assume Bridgehead is a big, bad dragon who demands a toll for crossing, and they bring food and money. Bridgehead and the governments of Romeo and Fluorburg make no effort to dispel those notions. He eats the food, and the towns get the money, most of which goes toward bridge repair for regular wear and tear or whenever Bridgehead accidentally sneezes at it.
