Grave Dragons are not named for their connections to death or burial, but for the grave expression on their faces. This strange expression is used as a defense mechanism that causes fits of panic and terror in potential predators. Since they only eat ash and charcoal, they do not hunt. Grave Dragons are powerful fire-breathers and have been known to burn down forests and villages alike to make meals. It is believed that the markings on each Grave Dragon’s wings are the faces of those who have lost their lives in fires started by that dragon.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Circe's loathing of every dragon she comes across is infamous throughout the clans. While she will be cordial in their presence, her brutal honesty causes her to decline every further invitation, and to not hold back on her opinion. While Circe is never outright rude, her withering glare and barely adequate replies give all who talk to her the impression that they are not welcome in this conversation. She has no problem with silent company, as it is entirely the chatter that irritates her, and her relationship with Pryderi is based almost entirely of them curling up together in their nest and reading quietly. Her patience for him is not passed on to anyone else however, as she finds young hatchlings almost repulsive due to the incessant and pointless noise that they make. Despite the fact that her dislike applies to almost every dragon, regardless of breed, size or personality, many still manage to take it personally, feeling entitled to be the one dragon that Circe will befriend.
