Ice Dragons are fierce predators who hunt using their extremely cold breath. The breath of an ice dragon can freeze its prey solid in seconds. The body of an ice dragon is so cold that icicles will form along its skin no matter the outside temperature.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

GIANT ALIEN SPIDERS ARE NO JOKE is from the (in)famous "shouting ice" line, whose family can be traced to pairs of ices and shadow walkers. Much of the family do not actually shout that much, nor are they as witty as their paired parents' names suggest. GIANT ALIEN SPIDERS ARE NO JOKE is not one of those. He shouts quite a lot, mostly about giant alien spiders and how they are no joke. In many places in the galaxy, he says, there exist these arachnids who should not be challenged unless one follows two specific ways to deal with them or maybe has a way to return from the dead. And the alien spiders will one day invade the world and everyone's doomed. His fears are almost justified because giants and aliens and even spiders are frightening, but a creature with all three descriptors does not and probably will not exist on Valkemare. Thus, this dragon's fears are unfounded, and his yelling is treated with disdain and headache medication.
