As the nocturnal relative to Sunbeam Drakes, Moonglow Drakes are a secretive breed most active under the light of the moons and stars. They are wary of others, but are known to have incredible loyalty should their trust be won. Catching sight of Moonglow Drakes as they dance amid the moonlight is seen as a favorable omen by those they live near, and tamed individuals are common. They are slightly smaller than their cousins, averaging around the size of a cat.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

BlackBodies is a very shy dragon that has a difficult time making new friends but always seems to try. Whenever she tries to talk to someone she is suddenly at a loss for words and begins to sweat excessively. This causes her to be a very solitary dragon most of the time and the others never really seem to try to talk to her because they have found out that it gives her great discomfort. Most of her time is spent in a orange grove that lies in the southern side of the main cave. When she is there she can practice talking to other dragons by laying many oranges in front of her and hopes that one day she can make all of the practicing put to work. Hopefully one day she will.
