As the nocturnal relative to Sunbeam Drakes, Moonglow Drakes are a secretive breed most active under the light of the moons and stars. They are wary of others, but are known to have incredible loyalty should their trust be won. Catching sight of Moonglow Drakes as they dance amid the moonlight is seen as a favorable omen by those they live near, and tamed individuals are common. They are slightly smaller than their cousins, averaging around the size of a cat.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

BlackInk is a very tough and independent dragon. She does not let anyone think that she is just a weak female and loves to do everything herself. She enjoys helping the other dragons and feels that by helping she is proving to them that she can accomplish things. BlackInk is a very respected dragon and very much beloved. She enjoys grooming herself when she is not busy and always believes that she should look her best. She loves her colors and feels that she can blend into the night sky so well that she is invisible when she flies. Her wings are very important to her and are spotless.
