Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Contrary to her close pal Master Quasar Shine, Ashes to Ashes Shimmer hasn't a care in the world! Her carefree personality often results in a sticky situation for Ashes to Ashes such as the time she had the brilliant idea to frolic through the forest only to have a run-in with hunters. She's normally late to everything causing his regal Tinsel family to frown upon her with silent disappointment. Nevertheless, she is convinced they can't change her, and she continues her adventurous life with a smile on her shining gold face.
