Their lusciously soft feathers and paper-thin golden spires are by no means the armor of a warrior, but an Erador Lindwyrm is a force to be reckoned with. The fragrant, berry-scented oils that coat their skin have a powerful soothing effect, which, in tandem with their magic, have the curious effect of fostering feelings of closeness in those around them. Eradors are gleefully aware of this effect, and seem to make a point of cultivating and mending as many relationships as they can, be them romantic or otherwise. As such, dragons seeking to preserve their fearsome reputations are careful to give Eradors a wide berth, as it is well known that anyone who picks a fight with an Erador is sure to win...a new friend.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Gird Up Your Loins was named in remembrance of the hardships his parents faced when they were young and struggling to survive and care for him in Orthnay, where he was born. He has no recollection of his time in an egg to early childhood, and he still doesn't really understand why his mother and father couldn't just leave Orthnay if it was so unpleasant. They told him the family and some close relatives were lucky to have him because once he was about three years old and his "personal magic atmosphere" developed, they were able to obtain sufficient mana and arrange a one-way trip out of Orthnay. Gird is naive and short-sighted, with a fairly easygoing life, and he's aware of it. He takes no risks and flies away fast whenever the slightest danger presents itself, in an attempt to never end up in a situation like his parents, and he's fearful of other dragons despite the safety his personal magic atmosphere brings. There's always a possibility that it doesn't work for whatever reason.
