Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Her name means "Realm of the Dead" in Japanese. She is one of the many daughters of Mamosuke and Emi, and is a daddy's girl for sure. She is a very hauntingly beautiful dragon, with blood-red wings, a ghostly white hide, devilish curving horns, scarlet claws, eyes as black as night, and a pitch-forked tail. Despite her appearances, she is a very friendly dragon, and has many friends in the colony. Since she is the sixth vampire dragon to hatch in the colony, she's never known the prejudices that her kind used to face. Instead, she has grown up accepted, and very happy. She loves listening to stories, which is lucky for her, since her mate, Gekidoku, loves telling them. They both love each other so much, and are so happy to have found each other. They are soul mates, and that, like their love, is eternal.
