Ultraviolet Dragons are a heat-loving breed that are most commonly found in hot, arid environments. These hardy dragons are omnivorous and will eat both plant and animal matter, even species with thorny physical defenses such as cacti. They are generally peaceful and often quite friendly, but males will become aggressive and cantankerous during the breeding season. Intense fights take place over females, sometimes resulting in injury for both combatants.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Last Night's Carol is, as his name suggests, a singer. His performances always seem to have just happened, and while others remember having heard them, they never know when or if the next one is coming up. Some suspect it is a diract side-effect of having at one point seriously angered a powerful chronoxenowyrm or similar powerful time dragon, but nobody knows. At one point in the past he was in Nworset City, so some suspect it was the clan of xenowyrms there. Others say he was too close to a magical mishap somewhere in the Voiceless Desert and had his present and future destroyed in the explosion. He was in a relationship with Qooti the avatar of destruction; some say his problems arose from her revenge.
