When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Her name means "Wisteria" in Japanese. She is a daughter of Kaito and Kasumi, and is her parents' pride and joy. As a hatchling she really enjoyed swimming in the shallow waters with her parents. Now that she's an adult, she prefers deeper water, but still comes to the shallows very often so that she can visit with her folks. She is a very beautiful dragon, with scales the color of the ocean on a clear day, with long flowing pearl-colored fins, with a delicate ridge and curling tendril on either side of her head. Her eyes are a darker blue, the color of the deep ocean and holding all the same mystery. She is an excellent singer, her voice is like the ocean flowing smooth and calm one moment and then turbulent and boisterous the next. She met Toshi when he was testing one of his inventions. She thought he was really cute in a nerdy sort of way, so when he asked her out, she agreed. They soon became mates. Their love is deeper than the ocean and always will be.
