Sophrosyne Dragons are a rare sight, typically making themselves known only to protect and heal the vulnerable. A visit from one serves as a reminder that kindness prevails, and that there’s always hope for positive change. While it is known that they possess the power to reverse botched spells, some claim they can even cure methodically-cast curses. This has never been formally documented, but these dragons have been seen arriving in the aftermath of violence, and the scars of tragedy seem to heal faster in their wake. The feathers of a Sophrosyne have thus become a symbol of perseverance and light in the face of darkness.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Everything has to end in a happily ever after for Mystik. Always seeing the glass as hall full but it's better that way, not going to spill he constantly puts a positive spin on things, and out of every incident will endlessly quote proverbs and explain how it has helped the dragon to develop themselves. Life is full of possibilities for him, as he throws himself into almost anything he comes across, always saying how the incident will help him to achieve his true potential. The majority of his friends love him for this, as he always cheers them up, but when one is feeling sad, Mystik's positive energy is seen as more of a frustration, when one simply wants to be left alone to grieve. Mystik doesn't seem to understand the concept of leaving people alone, wanting to make smile so badly that he will harass them into embracing life with him, frequently leaving his victim feeling worse off than before. During good times Mystik is a great friend, but during bad he is just annoying.
