Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Unrighteousness is childish and short-tempered, and he often speaks in a bombastic and incoherent manner, giving him the appearance of a drunkard. The authority figures find themselves grating their teeth in frustration when they have to deal with him, though to ordinary denizens, he manages to be funny enough to be likable, and many dragons think he's just putting up an act and really doesn't mean any of the strange and troubling things he says. During early winter, Unrighteousness is uncharacteristically mellow and helpful, and when others comment how different he is, he attributes the behavioral shift to his favorite season, autumn, being over. The occasional sighting by humans during this time has them believing that he's quiet and mysterious and majestic all the time.
