Melismor Dragons are social, good-natured dragons that enjoy the shelter of forested areas. They live in close-knit family groups, burrowing deep into the earth and creating extensive, winding networks of underground burrows. While rarely seen at the surface, Melismor Dragons, when encountered, are known to be fiercely loyal and protective, yet kind when their families aren’t in any danger. These dragons are omnivorous, but most of their diet consists of plants, especially tender roots, and honey is a favored treat they’ll often bring back to their burrows to share.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

When a young solstice fell into David Attenburrow's burrow with a jumbled-up idea of magical recordings of animals from across the world, he offered to help narrate them so the audience would know what they were looking at. Polychromos was skilled at putting clips together, but not at capturing good images, so David's narration was vital. He helped her get funding from the Blusang Broadcasting Coalition (BBC), and with the help of a more skilled image-capture dragon from the BBC they soon had a documentary viewed through countless crystal balls, enchanted pools, and magic mirrors around the world. Attenburrow's name and voice rapidly became famous everywhere that gets recordings from blusangs, and he is often seen as a symbol of the animals he loves. He has been trying to use his fame to help protect the natural world from threats such as mana-mining operations that tear entire mountains apart and leave the area so trashed that not even sandwastes nor omen wyrms can thrive.
